Nature relaxing - Templer's Park Malaysia



Templer's park is located 2km north of Kuala Lumpur. Templer's park is a good place for nature lovers, photographers and picnickers.

The entry is located beside the busy trunk road to Ipoh. There are numerous picnic areas along the two streams and you will find visitors almost anytime. From the car park a road leads to a nice swimming pool and there you will find a signboard to the waterfall.

This area was fully equipped with toilet facilities, change rooms and canteen. if you had not reached here and see for yourself, you would not imagine its setting up. Just wondering the hesitation and the talk by urbanites that the place was in the wilderness.
This beautiful park is a precious repository for flora and fauna, and one of the last proper green lungs within the city outskirts. There are restaurants, food stalls and ample parking space. For overnight stay, there are chalets and camping facilities for visitors.

Bring along a change of clothes, swimwear, insert repellant and a pair of binoculars if you are into bird watching. Wear suitable shoes as the around the waterfall can be slippery.

The Kanching Forest, about km later, is also on the right side. There are seven Waterfalls in the the Kanching Park. The signboard was previously erected to guide visitors to the 7 water falls.
Visitors walking follow the guide line by showing from their names .There are paved steps to trek up to the destination of their choice and capabilities. For Those who have more energy can climb up to waterfall level 7 where it is less crowded.
This Kanching Recreation Park sees the confluence by 2 rivers. There is a choice of depth and water flow to suit the family needs. You and your family especially for the kids can  have an activities like wadding in the shallow stream or playing with a dingy is allowed.
